TRAVERSE has been developed with the Microsoft Access relational database management system, making it easy for you to find answers easily, share timely information, and build faster solutions. Access is a true 32-bit database that allows you to share dynamic or static database information across the Internet or your company's intranet without writing any code, replicate only a specified part of a database, and much more. There are three versions of TRAVERSE available to suit the needs of virtually any size business:

Hardware Requirements TRAVERSE is a sophisticated accounting solution. Just as you would not operate a Grand Prix race car with the cheapest fuel from the corner gas station, you should not run your business accounting software on the "minimum" required hardware. The following is what you will need to run TRAVERSE and be happy with it:

Note: Windows ME is an operating system designed for home use or stand-alone operation. Its performance across a network is not acceptable to most users. Therefore, it is NOT a supported operating system. The software will run on machines that do not meet these requirements, but you will complain that the system is too slow.

Remote Communication

TRAVERSE is an ideal choice for software compatible with the most popular remote communications tools. Using Microsoft's Terminal Server or Citrix's Metaframe, you can have users working in TRAVERSE from virtually any computer, in any location. This can be anything from a 386 desktop in your office to a dial-up connection from around the world. Because all processing is done on the server, and only the screens are sent across the connection, speed can be extremely fast - dependent only on bandwidth, and not the processor or RAM of the workstation.
