Though a shared interest in imaginative modeling in general, and science fiction modeling in particular, is the glue that binds our members together, we appreciate all genres of the hobby - from cars to tanks to airplanes to ships.

Techmages is a chapter of the International Plastic Modelers' Society (USA) in Region 5. Membership is open to any who share our interests, regardless of geographic location or IPMS membership status. The majority of members are from the greater Chicagoland (Illinois, USA) area, so that's where we currently meet.

Unless other arrangements are made, meetings are held on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 5:30 - 7:30pm CST at: Hoffman Estates Park District Community Center in Hoffman Estates IL, on Higgins Rd (IL Rte 72) (about 1 mile east of Barrington Rd).
